NextDrop Intern Program

NextDrop is looking for around 10 interns for their 2014 batch. The internship will be a 2 month experience starting June 1, 2014 with the possibility of part time or full time work offers after completion of the internship.

The objective of the internship is to create a thought provoking, and professionally enhancing experience for students. By the end of the program, students should have a good sense of what it is like to work at a startup, and if this is a career option they would like to pursue. They should also have a good idea about the water sector in India, and the challenges and opportunities that face public service delivery in India.

Internship Overview

• 3 days learning about the different parts of NextDrop
• Pick the area you would like to focus on
• 4 weeks of Area Mastery/Field understanding
• Treated as a NextDrop employee
• Assigned work Evaluated
• 1 week of half time work & Brainstorming
• Come up with project
• Finalize with relevant NextDrop Executive
• 4 weeks of full time work, 1 day a week spent working on project
• 1 day: Final Project presentations
• Executive team spends time with interns for the day
• Give feedback
• Pick best project
• Implement best ideas
